AT Associates

AT Associates is a consultancy firm registered with the Ministry of Finance providing quantity surveying services. The firm is operating from its own office located at Suite D26, Second Floor, Podium Block D, Plaza Pekeliling, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur.

AT Associates was set up in 1989 by En. Adam bin Zayadi and Mr. Tan Eng Kiong. The firm has since been very active. The principals of the firm have been involved in quantity surveying works both in the public and private sectors before setting up the firm.

En. Adam started his career as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in a professional firm, WM. C. Harvey, in Newcastle England in 1982.   On his return, he joined the Ministry of Education as a lecturer.  He later left the public sector to work with a professional Quantity Surveying firm.  He was working with a public listed company as a Quantity Surveyor and Contract Manager before setting up AT Associates with Mr. Tan Eng Kiong.

Mr. Tan Eng Kiong started his career after obtaining Diploma in Building as an Assistant Quantity  Surveyor in a professional Quantity Surveying firm in 1974 and subsequently worked with a very  reputable and established Contractor.  After completing his degree in Quantity Surveying, he worked in a professional Quantity Surveying firm in the United Kingdom and Singapore before returning to Malaysia in 1982.  On his return, he joined a professional Quantity Surveying firm until he finally set up AT Associates with En. Adam Zayadi.

AT Associates has also been actively involved in non-traditional areas of quantity surveying such as Interior Design Works, Turnkey Projects both as consultant to the Employer as well as to Turnkey Contractors and acting as Project Managers.

Collectively the principals have been actively involved in the Construction industry from various angles vis-à-vis contractors, developers and consultants.  To date they have undertaken diverse nature of projects ranging from Hospitals, Hotels, Chalets, Universities and Institutions, Condominium, Apartment, Offices, Industrial Buildings, Housing Schemes, Resettlement of Squatter Scheme and Rehabilitation of Abandoned Housing Schemes.

AT Associates also associates with MacConvilles, a Quantity Surveying firm based in the United Kingdom on project to project basis between the two countries i.e. Malaysia and United Kingdom.
